Air Canada begins to cancel flights before a strike can contribute to thousands
The Air Canada started to cancel flights on Thursday before the unemployed workers were likely to affect hundreds of thousands of travelers.
The total closure of the largest aircraft in the country threatens that it contributes to about 130,000 people a day.
The union representing about 10,000 people’s flights in Canada have issued 72 hours notice on Wednesday. In response, the plane has issued a lock notice.
The strike is set to start about 01:00 EST (07:00 CET) Saturday, 17 August.
How many Air Canada’s planes can be canceled?
Mark Nasr, Air Canadian operating officer said the plane started a gradual suspension of air Canada and the Canadian airport works.
“All the planes will be suspended on Saturday morning,” he said.

Nasr said their Complete customers would be canceled for the full refund, and also made other Canadians and external supplies to provide unique travel options “to the level of travel.”
