Syria signs $ 4bn to deal with Qatar-Backed Consortium to rebuild Damascus airport as Aviation HUB of 90,000 District Works

The Syrian government has signed a $ 4bn Memorandum to understand the Consortium led by Qatar’s UCC holding the Redelopep International International International International Aubs.
The agreement, signed under President Ahmad al Sharaa and the support of the Patarian government, representing one of the newly reconstruction in Syria in decades and the country to renew the country economy.
International Consortium includes investment of UCC (QATAR), Assets Investment USA (USA), and Turkish Giants Cengiz Ghenşaat, Kalayon İnnaat, and Tav Tepeni.
Qatar-Backed Consortium to improve Damascus airport in Syria
The agreement was signed in Damascus in front of the highest Syrian highest officials, defrauding, and the special US Annoy Terrack.
The project will be distributed in five Perch-Perfect-Perfect-Perfect-Perfect (aims to raise the skin power at the airport:
- 6m passengers in the first year
- 16m in second phase
- 31m annually in full fulfillment
An advanced airport will include 32 gates of today, developed air systems of navigation, and high-quality worksheet. It will follow the ICAO and ITA levels, put it between the highest rate of plane in Middle East.
The project will include:
- Up to 50km of new access roads
- $ 250m Fee of 10 Airbus A320 aircraft of Syrian aircraft
- Creation of more than 90,000 straightforward and indirect
- The major trade equipment, tourism, and local provisional chains
Mohammad Moataz Al-Khayyat, the UCC Holding chairman, said the project showed power in other countries. He said: “This project includes the effects of the strategic partnership of the worldwide leading group with united intent: Rehabilitation of the most important area in Syria in a way that indicates its future desires.
Mr Ramez Al-Khayyat, CEO President and CEO, added: “The project is not about Damascop International Airport; it is a strategic bridge with Syria for returning and prosperity.

The Consortium track record includes some of the most important airport projects, such as:
- Hamad International Airport (Qatar)
- New Insemen of Istanbul (Turkey) – the largest in the world
- Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (Saudi Arabia)
- The Tripoli Airport (Libya)
- Cairo International Airport Terminal 3 (Egypt)
